06-10-21 Update from Public Works:
The lake levels are 3 inches below the high level spillway on lake 2; we have been holding at 3 inches the past two weeks; three weeks ago it was 6 inches below the high level spill way. The transfer system has been running regularly for the past four weeks; We have gained 3 inches of water in the lakes during this drought and are maintaining this level while both Red Tail and Turnberry irrigate daily. The transfer pumps are on a float system; Generally speaking the pumps may run for 6 hours then turn off because the level hits the “Off” float and then turns back on after an hour or two when the water level drops enough to trip the “ON” float. We are continuing to monitor the lakes and the river levels daily.
